Winter 2022 Club Newsletter
Now that Fall is approaching, we hope all our members are done with their yard clean ups and chores associated with this season. We can all look forward to the upcoming Holidays. We would like to make everyone aware of the events happening at your club. We hope to see you all there!
- Dues is due beginning October 1st, 2022, member have until the first meeting in January to pay.
- Big Deer contest: 3 categories, Bow, Gun, and Crossbow. $5.00 per category.
- Freshwater fishing contest continues, this runs until the end of October, let’s see who will be the 2022 winner.
- October 9th, 2022 is the Eddie Benevides and Dwyer Memorial Golf Tournament.
- October 9th @ 1:00pm, Turkey fry inside the club. Donations accepted.
- Horseshoes every Wednesday at 6:30 pm beginning May 8th through October 30th.
- Every Friday night at 6pm is our weekly lobster drawing.
- Come check out our Saturday night monthly meat raffles, held the 2nd Saturday of the Month, Nov – May. We always have something good!
- Saturday and Sunday at 4pm is our weekly meat drawing.
- Ice fishing contest begins in December dates depending on ICE.
- For other events that come up, please check Upland Club website.
- The Club would like to recognize the Upland club members for making member day on September 18th so successful and enjoyable for all members that attended. Without everyone’s help, this day would not be so successful.
- Wednesday Night Horseshoes – Begins 2nd Wednesday in May.
Our newsletters will be posted on the club’s website and we will have hard copies downstairs for members to take.
Remember to be respectful of our neighbors by leaving the club quietly in your vehicle or motorcycle.
Remember our shooting ranges are a privilege and members are asked to clean up after themselves, if you see any activity that is not within the club rules please say something.
